Novi di Modena War Memorial
This contains the remains of Partisans who died in action and of antifascists, as well as those of Canzio Zoldi and Francesco Maxia who were killed during the “Massacre of the Intellectuals” in Rovereto by the “Mirko Pistoni” Black Brigade Fascists, Adler Camurri who died in the Spanish civil war and Bruno Razzini.
- Armando Bolognese, nom de guerre “Satana” – Silver Medal of Military Valour, who died at 22 years old on 02/12/1944;
- Demos Malavasi – nom de guerre “Diavolo”, Gold Medal of Military Valour, who died at 18 years old on 01/12/1944;
- Pavesi Ottavio – nom de guerre “Tom”, who died on 19/05/1945 at 19 years old;
- Demos Malavasi, a Partisan of the same name and antifascist who died in Maranello on 09/09/1943;
- Selvino Folloni – nom de guerre “Primo”, Gold Medal of Military Valour, who died in the battle of Benedello (Municipality of Pavullo), at 21 years old on 05/11/1944;
- Alberto Boccaletti – died at 43 years old on 23/03/1945;
- Veles Bigi – nom de guerre “Demos”, who died on 04/09/1944 at 30 years old;
- Renzo Gasparini – nom de guerre “Numero Due”, Silver Medal of Military Valour, who died at 18 years old in December 1944;
- Alfredo Gualdi – nom de guerre “Arrigo”, Bronze Medal of Military Valour, who died on 27/09/1944, at 26 years old;
- Silvio Rossi – born in Modena on 3 March 1924. Based in Novi, a Partisan from the “Dell’Orco” Brigade from Parma, nom de guerre “Loris”, who died at 20 years old on 24/11/1944;
- Canzio Zoldi – an antifascist who was killed in the “Massacre of the Intellectuals” on 07/08/1944 near to Rovereto church;
- Francesco Maxia – an antifascist and medical officer, who was killed in the “Massacre of the Intellectuals” on 7 August 1944 near to Rovereto church;
- Adler Camurri, who died in Spain in 1937 during the civil war;
Bruno Razzini, born in Rolo on 10 July 1909 and died on 20 April 1945 in a clash while taking German soldier prisoners to a Partisan base.
