Michel Seeten Memorial
Born in Saint Nazaire (France) on 21 September 1920, he was sergeant-major and a pilot; the engine in his plane stopped during a mission and he had to parachute out. He joined the Partisans with the 23rd Grillo Brigade where he became sub-lieutenant. During the battle of Cortile on 01/12/1944, he was caught by Nazi-Fascists and killed after a shoot-out. It seems that he was hiding in the house that still stands near to the memorial built in his memory showing inscriptions in Italian and French. He was 24 years old.
