Albano Modena Memorial

This Partisan died on the day of his 27th birthday during the battle of Rovereto on 17 March 1945 (one of the biggest battles in the first Partisan area which, in addition to Novi and Rovereto, included Carpi, Soliera, Limidi and Campogalliano). With the nom de guerre “Michele”, he was a member of the 65th Walter Tabacchi Brigadeand head of GAP. He won the Silver Medal of Military Valour.
