This trail stretches around the neighbourhood of Sant’Antonio in Mercadello in the region bordered to the west by the Lama drainage channel and by the Secchia River to the east. The features of this trail are its historical and architectural sites, such as the complex of Palazzo Pio and the ancient typical courtyards of the local countryside like Campori courtyard. You will also come across many projects carried out by the Novi Environmental Volunteer Group for the rewilding of previously unused land, where trees and hedgerows have been planted to encourage falcons and storks to nest there by installing special artificial nests.
